Framework 05
Systems, Not Silos
The most important work may sit between organizations rather than inside any one of them.
The idea
A collection of successful organizations does not automatically create a healthy ecosystem.
Each organization can optimize its own programs while families, participants, or communities still encounter fragmentation between them. Systems, Not Silos changes the unit of analysis.
- Map the full participant experience, not the organizational chart.
- Locate barriers that sit between organizations.
- Coordinate only where shared action creates distinct value.
- Measure the health of the landscape, not the size of the coordinator.
